When Zach reached out to me to photograph the ceremony to wed his beautiful bride, Alex, I was immediately on board. He mentioned that their wedding plans were unfortunately postponed a couple times due to COVID, but he was never more ready to marry his bride.
So along with Zach’s sweet parents, Alex’s loving mom (who had traveled from Colorado to be there for her daughter’s big day), Zach’s supportive best friend, and a couple family members on FaceTime, we met the officiant under beautiful hanging trees at Tampa Riverwalk with the downtown skyline in the background.
The setting was simply gorgeous, but it could not be compared to how gorgeous Alex was. Alex surprised Zach by dressing in her wedding gown that she plans to wear for their big celebration next year. His surprised reaction during their intimate first look was both sweet and genuine.
We finished the morning taking family and couple portraits with the view of the river in the background. After seven years together, Alex and Zach are officially Mr. and Mrs. Smith! They will celebrate with their family and friends on the same day next year, but for now, they get to enjoy being newlyweds until they can relive the day at the same location on their first anniversary. I am so happy for them both and wish them the very best. You do not find two people who are as wonderful and as perfect for reach other as these two are!
Congratulations, Alex and Zach! Thank you for trusting me with such a momentous occasion! It was an honor to take the photos of this joyous season of your life!
