Lisa & Michael Elopement

Lisa reached out to me the week before she and Michael planned to elope. Their big Chicago wedding got postponed due to COVID, but they were eager to start their next chapter of life as husband and wife! So, we headed down to Fort Desoto beach and had the most beautifully intimate wedding ceremony with her family.

I remember quickly realizing how sweet Lisa was, but I had no idea how wonderful her fiancé and family would be. Talking to her dad before their first look was a really sweet memory for me. You can tell he was emotional and sentimental as he waited to see his daughter dressed in white. A moment very special when you share the father/daughter bond that these two so obviously do.

Shortly after, we walked further down the beach where her family and fiancé, Michael, were. She and Michael also shared an intimate first look just prior to her sister perfectly officiating their ceremony.

Their formal photos were absolutely stunning. Lisa looked like an angel, and I told Michael he looked like a 1950s crooner (which got a big smile.) The sunset was an absolute dream. Lisa asked if they could finish the night with a fun “risqué” photo to end the session. The answer was and will always be, YES.

Michael and Lisa, I hope you are enjoying your lives as newlyweds! You are a stunning couple with so much infectious love for each other. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to meet you and your family and share in this joyous occasion with you all!
