Rachel and Taylor Engagement

Taylor messaged me on a Saturday to ask me if I had availability for the following day because he and his fiancé, Rachel, wanted to get their engagement pictures done quickly in order to send out their save the dates. Luckily, I was available. And I am so happy I was. Meeting these two and getting to photograph their engagement photos at Indian Rocks Beach was incredible!

Taylor is also a photographer, so it is always a little bit nerve wracking when a fellow photographer wants you to take their pictures. But luckily we just talked all about equipment and our background in photography and instantly hit it off! They were also very understanding when we had to walk a half mile or so to find the good light. 🙂

It was actually Taylor’s photography page that caused the two of them to meet. Rachel followed his page and loved his work. She saw that he was going to be near where she lived (in Utah at them time) and worked up the courage to message him. They ended up meeting in person, and she already had thought about moving to Florida already prior to meeting him. Meeting him basically sealed the deal for her move. The stars had obviously aligned for these two, and the rest is history. He proposed to her at the same beach they had their engagement pictures done at. 

Their love story is right out of a hallmark Christmas movie. And I am just so honored to have been asked to capture their wedding day in Tampa this spring! Taylor and Rachel, I am so glad our paths crossed, and I cannot wait to continue this journey with you guys! Here’s to the wedding day and to the next chapter of your love story! 🙂
